Description

Walnut Village is a new, full-service Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that opened in October 2009 in Anaheim, Calif. The community is a new concept in retirement living where residents 62 and older are surrounded by people, amenities and events that make life engaging. Its award-winning design is set apart by its unique village approach in which a village square offers residents opportunities to dine, engage in social activities or simply relax.

Description

The Arc of San Diego is the largest, most comprehensive provider of services to people with disabilities in San Diego County. Legacy Building Services Completed a a new 2-story office and training facility for The Arc. The facility will house employment training and other programs that serve more than 1,000 people. Also included within the building are spaces for administrative offices and corporate meetings.

Description

Located in the core of a pharmaceutical and biotech center, this site offers multiple opportunites for future office and laboratory expansion projects. Legacy’s first phase of work includes grading of the site to prepare the site for future buildings. The Summit Pointe grading project included various environmental challenges during the course of the project due to the location at the bottom of a canyon in the University Town Center area of San Diego and difficulties in connecting to the sewer utility.

Description

Originally constructed in 1942, Building 210 was the former home of the San Diego Naval Training Center’s pool house, gymnasium and fitness center. Legacy’s project team worked with Heritage Architecture and Planning, and Liberty Station’s master developer, McMillin Companies, throughout the preconstruction phase to identify and perfect methodologies for preserving and restoring architectural and structural features of the 38,000 square foot, 3-building complex.
