DescriptionThe project is a historically significant structure that is listed on the National Register of Historic places. It is an existing two (2) story building and a former barracks building that was later converted by the Navy to an office building. The building renovation included interior and exterior restoration, new restrooms, an elevator for future office spaces, additional lighting and site utilities.
Legacy was awarded this project when another GC attempted to raise their base price. Legacy started 30 days later and completed the project on the original completion date. Even a one day late completion would have prevented the Foundation from collecting the funding grant for the project. Of our own volition, we engaged a 3rd party agency to do thermal imaging to determine moisture content in walls to try to get better adherence of peeling paint.
